Solar Power

Sustainability remains at the core of everything we do.

By reducing water and energy waste, and decreasing hazardous emissions we continue to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.

As a part of these initiatives we have installed solar panels at our factories to harness the energy of the sun and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. In 2020 these solar panels generated approximately 3,245 MWh of electricity, the equivalent of powering 530 households. On average this met 111% of the electricity requirements of four plants. In addition to being powered by the sun we also aim to reduce our total electricity usage by 10% and our overall carbon footprint by 20% by 2024.
